Our Return Promise

We accept returns of unused products in their original packaging for a full refund or exchange. Your satisfaction is as important to us as the precision engineering in our handlebars, saddles, and pedals.

Note: For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on used saddles or handlebar grips unless defective. All other products in our catalog are eligible for return.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Email our rider-support team at [email protected] with the following information:

Subject: Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order Number] Dear RITCHEY Shop Team, I would like to request a [return/exchange] for my recent purchase: Order Number: [Insert] Product Name: [Insert] Reason for Return: [Insert] [For exchanges, please specify desired replacement product] Please advise on next steps. Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Within 1 business day, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Returns without an RMA cannot be processed.

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories. Include the RMA number clearly on the package. Ship to:

Note: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Notification: You’ll receive an email confirmation when processed

For exchanges, we’ll ship your replacement product via your preferred shipping method once the return is received. There’s no additional charge if the exchange is for an item of equal value.

International Returns

Our global rider community (excluding certain Asian and remote regions) can follow the same process. Please note:

  • Customs fees are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs may be higher for international locations
  • Use a trackable shipping service (DHL or FedEx recommended)

Damaged or Defective Items

If your seatpost, headset, or any component arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos
  2. We’ll arrange a prepaid return label if needed
  3. Receive a replacement or full refund at no extra cost
